Four Pillars of Health
It seems like everyone is talking about the importance of food, sleep, physical activity and emotional well-being, but where and how do you begin? How do you discern fact from fiction, marketing hype from science, and one-size-fits-all from the protocols that suit your lifestyle, goals and biology?

Cholesterol, Glucose and Diet - Medicine or Poison
Dr. Sean Foss will explore the misconceptions around the main causes of chronic disease as related to diabetes and cardiovascular disease. You'll hear from a naturopathic doctor’s perspective and learn nutritional choices that give you the best chance to take back control of your health.
Dr. Foss will also speak about common medications that treat cholesterol and glucose and explore possible options, considering that every person is unique and has their own needs. We will discuss cholesterol, glucose, and inflammation: are they friends, foes, or maybe a bit of both?
There will also be time for Q&A about your own concerns (please note we will not be able to provide individual medical advice, but general educational tips).
Summer Lecture Series
Doctor Foss has had extensive experience in treating Lyme disease and other co-infections, autoimmune diseases, toxic exposure, pain disorders, cardiac health and other chronic illnesses for both adults and pediatric patients. He is currently working at his own practice on Cape Cod called the Functional Medicine Collaborate and at the Lyme and PANS Center in Hingham. Dr. Foss is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in MA, CT and NH and practices acupuncture in Massachusetts. Each lecture begins at 5:30pm
